DE Moore took visit to co-favorite

Mesquite (Texas) Horn strongside defensive end Cordero Moore listed Oklahoma and Oklahoma State as his top two teams throughout most of the summer.
He said he made it a goal to make it to both schools for unofficial visits in late July, but it looks like he was only able to make it to one of the two schools. So which one was it – Stillwater or Norman?

“I went to Oklahoma for an unofficial visit,” Moore, who is 6-foot-4 and 264 pounds, said. “I didn’t get to make it over to Oklahoma State. I really liked Oklahoma. I thought it was nice.”
So what did Moore, who is the No. 44 player in Texas according to Rivals.com, think about his time in Norman?
“I really liked the coaching staff,” he said. “I really liked coach Venables. He’s the one recruiting me. He made me feel really at home.”
Moore also got to meet a special guest while he was on campus.
“Roy Williams was there from the Cowboys,” Moore said. “I got to shake his hand. That was really cool.”
Still Moore, who also has offers from Arizona, Baylor, Missouri, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and several others, said he’s in no rush to make a decision.
“I want to take all five of my visits and look at what each school has,” he said. “I haven’t even discussed what’s going on with recruiting.”
