DE Miles talks first two offers

A strong junior season has resulted in two offers for Woodbridge (Va.) C.D. Hylton defensive end Reggie Miles. The 6-foot-5, 240-pounder went in-depth on his offers more inside.
"I have two offers right now from Navy and Purdue," he said. "The Naval Academy offered me about a month and a half ago. Purdue offered about two weeks ago.

"I was pretty excited about the offers. It showed all the hard work paid off. To know my play can get me somewhere is really big for me."
Miles reflected on Navy and Purdue specifically.
"I know Navy was national champions in the 20's and it's a pretty cool school. I like the campus," he said. "I don't know much about Purdue since I grew up down south in Florida."
Interest is rising for Miles, most notably from Boston College.
So, does he like any schools?
"My favorite team was always Florida," he said. "They were my hometown team and I always rooted for them. I liked Florida cause I hated Florida State and they were their biggest rival."
Originally from Florida, Miles moved to Northern Virginia five years ago.
However, location is not one of the big factors for Miles in his future destination.
"I want a college that has a good psychology program," he said. "I want to feel at home and find somewhere I can spend four years of my life. I don't want somewhere too large or too small. I want a medium sized college."
Though he has plans to make visits this summer, Miles has nothing scheduled at this time.
This past year as a junior, Miles posted 10 sacks and earned second team all-district honors.
"I started most of the season and it was a pretty solid year for me," he stated. "I think I have a good first step coming off the line and I am a little bit faster than most defensive ends. I also have good range and am long. I can run sideline to sideline."
