DE Miles staying patient

Mebane (N.C.) Eastern Alamance defensive end Nick Miles is waiting out the process. The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder claims three offers, but is waiting to see if other schools will pull the trigger.
"I've got offers from Duke, Elon and Western Carolina, those are my three," he said. "I have a lot of schools that want ot look at some senior tape.

"I know South Carolina is the most interested along with Wake Forest and NC State. They are all going to make a decision after my first two games. I should know very quickly if they are going to offer or not."
Miles took in two camps earlier this summer to Duke and NC State.
At this time, the two-star prospect isn't looking at taking any other visits in the near future.
"I'm going to wait and see what happens with everything and hopefully I play well this season."
Miles maintains there are no favorites at this time as he's considering all of his options.
In the meantime, football is about to start back up and the lineman gave his take on the coming season.
"I'm just working towards the upcoming season," he said. "I believe I've improved a lot since last year, I'm bigger, faster and stronger. I plan on being one of the leader of the team and help take us to a state championship."
