DE Mason is busy taking visits

Frederick (Md.) St. John's Catholic defensive end Forrest Mason is in the middle of visits. The 6-foot-3, 234-pounder already claims two scholarships and is hoping to add more to his list.
"I've got offers from East Carolina and Connecticut," he said. "Last week I went to Syracuse with J.R. Ferguson. We had an AAU tournament and then went over and met with the coaches.

"It was nice. I liked the coaches and facilities. It's a real nice place. The coaches told me they want a tape of my first three games and if I look pretty good they'll offer me."
Before the trip to Syracuse, Mason stopped by Connecticut and Rutgers the week before.
"I had never been to Connecticut before, but I liked the facilities. It was real nice and I didn't expect it to be like that. The coaches are cool," he said. "I love the facilities at Rutgers. It was nice too. Rutgers told me they are close to offering. They want me to come to their big man camp. I'm pretty sure I'm going."
Mason mentioned the possibility of camps at North Carolina and Clemson as well.
Does the Maryland prospect like anybody right now?
"I don't have a favorite at all."
