DE Mason changes schools

Defensive end Forrest Mason has changed schools. Where is the 6-foot-3, 234-pounder and what's the latest with his recruitment?
"I changed schools from St. John's Catholic Prep to Frederick," he said. "Things are going pretty good. It was for financial reasons. It's been good though. I'm playing defensive end and a little tight end and everything is about the same.

"We open our season on September 5th against Tuscarora. We've had a high intensity practice and I think we're going to be pretty good as a team. The coaches are on me all the time and I'm improving."
On the recruiting front, Mason sits on two offers from East Carolina and Connecticut.
"I still have those offers," he said. "I went to James Madison and my coach said they are going to offer me too.
"I'm still getting letters from other schools who say they want to see me first three games. Those include California, Syracuse, Minnesota, Rutgers, North Carolina and Virginia."
Mason maintains there are no favorites at this time.
"I don't have a favorite and I haven't made any plans for visits this fall. I'm planning to wait until after the season to do that."
