Defensive end Kareem Martin has made two unofficial visits the past two weekends. The 6-foot-6, 222-pounder checked out two ACC schools and added one offer.
"I went to Virginia yesterday and that's when I got the offer," he said. "I went to Chapel Hill last weekend."

Martin first touched on North Carolina.
"North Carolina was pretty good," he said. "I went to the spring game and it was a pretty mellow day. The coaches were focused on their players, but it was pretty nice. They didn't really talk about offering either. I did see their facilities though and really liked them."
Meanwhile, what did Martin think of Virginia?
"I went up there for practice yesterday and I liked it up there more than I thought I would," he stated. "I knew they had the No. 1 business school and that's what I'm interested in studying. It was pretty nice. I also liked the way they run their practice everything was intense.
"I think I was one of two or three recruits up there and I even talked to Coach Groh. It was nice talking to him, that's when they offered after practice. He sounds like a nice guy."
Martin plans to take another trip soon.
"I think I'm going to Duke on the 18th for their spring game and I may try to get to Virginia Tech's too."
While many schools have offered, a few including Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Louisville continue to show interest.
Does Martin like anybody?
"I don't really have any favorites, but I do like Duke, Virginia Tech and Virginia," he said. "I like Duke's coaching staff and they have a good education. I like the way Virginia's practice was run and they have the No. 1 business school which is what I'm interested in studying. As for Virginia Tech, they always win so if I go there I have a chance to win a championship."
