DE Makes Big Ten Commitment
"He has committed to Northwestern," two star defensive end Jim Devine's mother Mary Jo said of her son. "He'll probably make his official visit there December 7th."
"Wisconsin and Bowling Green also offered a scholarship. But Northwestern was the best fit for him."

Devine, 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds, plays middle linebacker for Jackson (Mich.) Lumen Christi, but projects as a defensive end in college.
Over the past two seasons he has led his team to 27 straight victories.
Lumen Christi is 13-0 this year after a 47-0 win over Boyne City this weekend. They are headed for the state championship game next weekend.
