DE Likes Trip

Bowie, Md. defensive end Reggie Holmes liked what he saw.
“The atmosphere was the best at Maryland that I’ve seen,” said the 6-foot-2, 235-pound standout. “The students rushed the field after the game, pulled down the goalposts and everyone was throwing oranges for the Orange Bowl. It was cool.”

Holmes was in attendance for Maryland’s blowout over Clemson on an unofficial visit. However, the win didn’t change much in his mind.
Holmes has an official trip set to Maryland on November 30th and also wants to visit Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Syracuse and Tennessee. He’s also interested in LSU.
“I don’t really have a favorite,” he said. “I’m not really set on staying in Maryland or leaving. I just want a place where I fit.”
Holmes has four sacks this season and more than 130 tackles.
