DE Jones gaining interest

The No. 2 team in the state of New Jersey is loaded with talent and one player that is beginning to see his stock rise is Jamaal Jones of Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end has two offers, but other schools are beginning to take notice.
“I have offers from Rutgers and Purdue and I’m visiting both schools on official visits. I’m going to Rutgers on Dec. 13 and Purdue on Jan. 17.”

Jamaal will play his last game of his high school career on Dec. 7 for the New Jersey Parochial Group IV Championship. Bergen Catholic will look for revenge versus undefeated and top-ranked Don Bosco.
“They beat us during the regular season so we are looking for a little payback in the game that really counts. This game is like the Superbowl of New Jersey.”
Besides Jamaal's two offers, he has recently been receiving a lot of interest from Illinois, Iowa, Clemson and UConn.
"We’ll see how that goes. Those schools said they planned on coming to see me in school. I really don’t have a favorite right now so I’ll just see what happens after the season.”
For the season, Jones has 85 tackles, 10 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks.
