DE Hopkins claims offer No. 2

Defensive end Antoine Hopkins picked up his first offer approximately a month ago from Virginia Tech. The 6-foot-1, 230-pounder out of Highland Springs, Va. has added a second offer in the past couple weeks also from the ACC.
"I got an offer about a week and a half ago from Virginia," he said. "Like I said after Virginia Tech, I'm very excited they offered. They saw something in me others didn't and offered early.

"I'm planning to take a visit there next week on the 24th for their spring practice. I haven't been up there before, but I'm just waiting to see the college atmosphere, practices and that sort of stuff. I want to meet all the coaches and some of the players. I'd like them to be real honest with me and give me criticism of my skills so if I choose to go there I can perform at my best level."
Aside from the visit to Charlottesville, Hopkins plans to head to Blacksburg during his spring break next month.
"I'm going to take a visit to Virginia Tech on my break over the 11th or 12th of April," he said. "I want to see the same sort of things from them."
Now with two offers in hand, what is Hopkins looking for out of a school?
"I just want to have fun and find a place I feel comfortable at," he stated. "I want a good educational school that graduates a lot of their athletes and a good atmosphere with good coaches and teachers. I also want to major in architecture, that will be big in my decision."
