DE Holman announces summer tour

Durham (N.C.) Hillside defensive end Antonio Holman registered an impressive 19 sacks last season on his way to earning all-state, all-conference and all-area honors. Despite the big year, the 6-foot-0, 230-pounder is still without an offer.
"He doesn't have any scholarships yet, but a lot of teams are talking," Hillside head coach Ray Harrison said. "I think most of the schools want to see how he'll play at linebacker since that is what they are looking at him for. I know Virginia Tech, East Carolina, Penn State, Wake Forest and North Carolina have all expressed some interest."

Does Holman have any favorites?
"He hasn't named anybody directly, but I know he definitely would like to go out of state," he said. "He was born in Durham and told me he wants to see something different."
The Carolina defensive end plans to show off his skills this summer at camps at East Carolina, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and possibly Penn State.
"Antonio is a dominant player that is probably one of my biggest sleeper's on the team," he said. "He is very quick, strong and powerful and has a great nose for the ball. He has a great ability to read plays quickly and is the type of player that always wants to learn and get better."
