DE Has New Offer; Same Three Leaders
The first phone call on Sunday, Sept. 1 for defensive end Omar Savage of Piscataway N.J. was a nice surprise. The 6-foot-4, 222-pound three-star recruit had 12 offers before Sunday and can now make it a baker's dozen.
"Iowa called me at six o'clock on Sunday and they offered me. I also had calls from Boston College, Maryland and UConn."

Although Omar does not have any of his official visits lined up just yet, he hopes to set a few up shortly.
"I'm probably not going to make an official now until after the season. I don't want to be distracted by all that stuff right now."
Omar still lists Rutgers, Clemson and Maryland as his leaders and all three will be sure to get official visits. He'll choose among Boston College, Iowa, Temple and West Virginia.
