DE has big-time upside

Junior to Watch: Kevin Williams
School: Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River

Position: Defensive tackle and defensive end
Size and Speed: Williams is 6-foot-7 and 265 pounds and has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.9 seconds.
Statistics: Williams made 83 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and four sacks as a junior.
Favorites: His coach wasn’t ready to release his favorites. However, I got the impression that Williams will look at all of the Florida schools.
Skinny:
Sebastian (Fla.) Sebastian River is the home of one of the most interesting players on the east coast of Florida. Kevin Williams, a defensive tackle, is getting plenty of attention from college scouts despite playing only one year of organized football.
“Kevin has only played one year of organized football,” Coach Randy Bethel said. “He has tremendous upside. His best football is ahead of him. Kevin runs extremely well for a player of his size, and he has those long arms. He has a defensive mentality and he gets mad on the field.”
Coach Bethel told FloridaRecruiting.com that Williams has several scholarship offers but he wouldn’t name the schools at this time.
This summer Williams will attend the Down and Dirty camp for lineman.
