DE George at six offers

New Jersey defensive end Kyle George has flown under the radar thus far but now word is getting out.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound prospect from Willingboro, N.J. is coveted because of his athleticism for a player of his size.

George has received offers from Iowa, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and West Virginia so far. He said one school is recruiting him to play tight end while all of the others would like to give him a shot on defense at outside linebacker or defensive end.
"I just came back from a visit on Friday to Rutgers," George said, recalling his first visit of the summer.
"It was just an unofficial visit but it was good. It was a good experience. They just talked to me and showed me the campus. They offered me up there."
While George is excited about the recent offers from the Scarlet Knights he is keeping his head on straight and isn't going to make a decision in haste.
"I'm taking it slow," he noted. "I'm giving this a lot of thought. I need to talk to a lot of people before I make a decision, like my mom, my coach and some people. I'm still looking at everybody."
George said he will be visiting schools all throughout the summer. Next week he will attend Rutgers' Big Man camp and he will be at Maryland later on.
