DE Edwards another pleased visitor

One of the Midwest's top defensive players took his second official visit this past weekend.
"Boston is a really great place," said Ray Edwards of Cincinnati (Ohio) Woodward after his official visit to The Heights this past weekend. "I visited BC with a bunch of other players from Ohio and we all had a great time."

Edwards already visited Purdue and is going to Ohio State on Dec. 6. The 6-foot-6, 235-pound defensive end will also visit Tennessee and Wake Forest. Ray will not be too hasty about making a decision as he plans to take all five official visits before making a choice.
"I want to see other schools before I do anything. Seeing BC opened my eyes a bit to other programs. Boston College was really nice, so I feel that maybe I underestimated some others too."
The four-star recruit was very enthusiastic about his visit to Boston.
"I could see myself playing there. As a matter of fact, the other guys I visited with from Ohio thought the same thing. We can make it a Ohio thing up there."
Ray also talked about the academics and Boston College social life.
“Academics are very important to me. I want to get a great education and BC is excellent, the graduation rates are some of the best in Division One. I also like the fact that the city of Boston is so close and the BC campus is not gigantic. All and all it was an excellent visit.”
Edwards is also considering offers from Notre Dame, Penn State and South Carolina and will make two of those teams his final destinations.
