DE down to two, decision coming soon

It appears Rick Leonard is getting very close to a decision. The defensive end from Middletown (Md.) has offers from well over 10 schools but now knows his top schools.
"I like Tennessee but I'd say it's Clemson and Florida State at the top right now," said the 6-foot-7, 250-pound Leonard. "Maryland is in there too.

"I like Clemson a lot," he said. "I just finished a camp there. I'm going to go down to Florida State on July 14 and hopefully I'll make a decision after that. I don't have a date to decide but I'm going to Florida State on July 14. That visit is not for a camp, it's just for a tour. I'll decide either after I visit Florida State or, if I don't go there, I'll commit to Clemson."
It appears that Clemson and Florida State will be the two schools vying for Leonard in the end.
"I haven't been to Tallahassee before," Leonard said. "I've talked to Coach Sunseri on the phone a few times and I've talked to the head coach also. I chatted with them for a while and they're good guys. I'm looking forward to getting down there.
"Clemson is a great place," he said. "The location is great, the football is great but the people are the biggest thing. They care about you for more than just football. That's one of the main attractions for me. They have a good thing going here."
Leonard helped Middletown to an undefeated record and a state title last season.
