DE Colbert garnering interest

Langhorne (Pa.) Neshaminy defensive end Jay Colbert continues to hold one offer. The 6-foot-2, 228-pounder is waiting for more scholarships, but is receiving his share of college interest.
"I don't have an official offer, but I do have a verbal from Buffalo," he said. "I'm hearing from Rutgers, Temple likes me a lot and North Carolina State.

"I'm looking at going to Rutgers for camp, Temple, Penn State and Syracuse for a day."
Colbert continues to look at all of his options.
"Honestly, I'm looking for a family feel," he said. "Our high school is a big family and I'm a big family type of guy. I also like good academics. The best thing about college is coming out with a degree. I'm looking to get it in physical therapy or sports medicine. I'd rather play close to home, but it doesn't matter. I want a nice school."
Last season Colbert helped Neshaminy to an 11-2 record.
"I don't remember my statistics but I made all-league," he said. "Definitely my speed stood out. I'm a rush end and am very aggressive. I have a nose for the ball.
"I've got to work on being an all-around defensive end and keeping containment."
