DE Burton has a top three

Four-star defensive end Derek Burton out of Muskogee, Okla. has three schools on top for his services. Who stands out to the 6-foot-3, 250-pounder and why?
"I'd say Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Tennessee are my top three for sure," he said. "I really like the coaching staff at Oklahoma and coach Shipp. I like Oklahoma State because my dad went there and I grew up liking them. As for Tennessee, I know they aren't playing well this year, but they've got great tradition and I know I want to get down there and visit."

Burton plans to take his official visits during December and January.
"I'm still trying to take it one step at a time, as I'm considering visits to Tennessee, Texas Tech, Tulsa, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State," he said. "I get a lot of calls from those coaches every week and enjoy talking to all of them."
The Rivals250 star finished the regular season with 92 tackles and 13 sacks. This week the Roughers play in the first round of the playoffs at Ponca City.
