DE Brown visits two schools

Charlotte (N.C.) Christian defensive end Kyler Brown took two unofficial visits recently. The 6-foot-5, 215-pounder visited two schools in the ACC including one that has already offered.
"Things haven't picked up a whole lot yet," Christian head coach Jason Estep said. "He's got the offers from Duke and East Carolina. The rest of the schools are still evaluating him.

"It seems like things really picked up late last spring and I think once coaches see his film and look at his size to see that he fits the part, it's going to pick up."
Even though offers aren't coming in hard, Brown is getting his share of interest.
"He's getting a lot from Wake Forest, NC State, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Cincinnati and Maryland," he said. "It's just a matter right now of seeing where he fits on their boards and what position he plays as he could be a tight end too."
As he waits, Brown is taking unofficial visits recently heading to North Carolina on Friday and then Duke on Saturday.
"He hung out with Coach Withers on Friday while going to practice there," he said. "At Duke he hung out with his brother. I haven't gotten to talk to him too much yet, but he said he had a great time at both schools."
So, does Brown like anybody?
"I don't think anybody is the frontrunner," he said. "Obviously he's very excited about Duke with his brother there and it's a good fit, but I expect he'll get more offers before he finds a school and then revisit places unofficially."
