Williamsport (Pa.) Williamsport Area defensive end/linebacker Raymond Brooks took an official visit to Iowa this past weekend. How'd it go?
"It went well, Iowa was cool," said the 6-foot-4, 240-pounder. "They want me as a linebacker and they think I can play outside. They like my quickness."
Brooks was hosted by linebacker George Lewis.

"I play defensive end in high school and never really played linebacker, so he showed me a few things about how they use linebackers in their system," he said. "I thought it was a good visit. Iowa is a quiet town and I like that."
Brooks is now set to visit Boston College this weekend and has NC State (Dec. 6), Maryland (Dec. 13) and might do Virginia on Dec. 20 or stick with his Jan. 17 date.
"Part of me wants to decide by Christmas, but then again it might be nice to sit back and take some time before my last trip," he said. "I'm not sure right now."
Brooks said he'll consider the Hawkeyes until the end.
