DE Bianchi wrapping up busy summer

Defensive end Tom Bianchi is winding down after a busy summer that saw him camp at several schools in the hopes of improving his stock with college coaches.
The 6-foot-2, 231-pound standout from North Caldwell (N.J.) West Essex holds an offer from Army. Are more offers on the way?

"He went to BC's camp, he went to UConn's camp and he did the BigTime Showcase," said Tom Bianchi, the father of the talented defensive lineman.
"He did a couple of I-AA's too. He went to Villanova and did a personal workout there. I would say that went very well. He did very well at Hofstra. At Boston College I thought he did well because he ran in the 4.6's (40-yard dash). He did the 7-on-7 at Rutgers."
So where does that leave things now?
"Pretty much right now a lot of schools want him to come up but with the timing and everything we don't know," he continued. "I've got a feeling a lot of the I-AA's might be ready to do something with him.
"It seems like the consensus now is he'll either be a defensive end or a linebacker."
While he's still waiting for more offers, one school still sits atop Bianchi's list.
"The obvious choice would be BC," his father continued. "They were one of the first ones involved from the beginning. That's one he would probably jump at. Boston College and UConn for I-A are up there.
"He spent about six hours at West Point. They would definitely be in his top five. As for I-AA's, probably Villanova just based on his workouts. It's tough to say because he's just waiting now."
