DE Bennett still rising

Though Andrew Bennett has yet to receive an offer from a school in a BCS conference his stock is still steadily rising.
It may only be a matter of time until one of the more well-known programs in the country offers him the opportunity to join them a year from now.

The 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect recently picked up an offer from Akron.
"I went down to their camp last Saturday and I thought I did really well," he said. "Their head coach offered me after the camp. I like all of the football stuff there. I like the new field, the field house and all their new stuff. I haven't really looked into the school very much yet."
Ohio, Toledo and Youngstown State are the other schools that have offered scholarships to the Erie (Pa.) McDowell prospect.
"I think we're gonna go on a visit to Ohio but I don't think I have any more camps this summer," he continued. "I'm going to wait it out a little bit to see if I get any offers from bigger schools.
"I guess Penn State is coming to our scrimmage in a month. They want to watch me. North Carolina and West Virginia are just waiting for film on a couple of senior games and then they'll make their decisions."
Bennett has run the 40-yard dash in 4.71 seconds and has a bench max of 340 pounds.
