DE Banks lands Big Ten offer, talks camps

Apex (N.C.) Middle Creek defensive end Josh Banks landed his third offer recently. In addition, the 6-foot-4, 245-pounder is on the verge of heading to a few camps.
"I just got an offer from Minnesota about two weeks ago," he said. "I like it. It seems like a cool school and the coaches are cool. I've looked it up and talked to the coaches a whole lot, but I haven't been up there. I probably won't visit until one of my officials."
Banks holds two other offers from Wake Forest and Western Michigan.

The end is hoping more offers come as a few camps are approaching.
"I'm probably going to Maryland for a one day camp, Clemson and I'm going to Wake Forest," he said. "Clemson and Maryland are saying they just want me to try to come up there and all the coaches want to see me in person."
Banks is currently working hard to get ready for this fall.
"I'm just working on my speed, getting faster," he stated. "I've seen a big improvement. My coach is helping me out with my hands and trying to make me a better player overall."
