DCs Walker holds two offers

Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy linebacker Cavon Walker has emerged with two offers. The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder is close to a third in the near future.
"I've got offers from Maryland and New Mexico right now," he said. "I'm in talks with NC State. They are going to offer me soon."

Walker nabbed the first two offers back in the summer.
"Maryland is one of my top choices right now," he said. "I've been talking to their coaches a lot. It's like a family aspect there, the coaching staff seems really interested in me and they are easy to talk to. I also know some players on the team including Albert Reid.
"As for New Mexico, I'm glad they offered me."
In the meantime, Walker is hearing from a number of other schools including Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Pittsburgh, Miami, California, Virginia Tech and Virginia.
"I just put my highlight tape out last week and they all like my frame, they just need to check out my tape."
Walker is seeing a bit of a stunt in his recruiting because of injury.
"I fractured my foot last year and I'm good now," he said. "I missed the season though. I'm back to full speed and jumping higher than before."
With little to go on, what sticks out about Walker as a player?
"I'm aggressive to the ball and every time I go until the whistle blows. I love contact and love everything about football."
