"With Georgia, I'm glad I got my first SEC school. I know it's a real competitive league and probably the most competitive league to play in, in college. I need to do more research on the program. I have been talking to Tony Ball and every time we talk, we have a good conversation.
"For Georgia Tech, Al Groh came to see me work out on May 1st. He told me we'd be in touch in a week or two. I sent him my film and transcript and he offered."
Kelly believes more schools could be offering soon.
"I know South Carolina and Michigan State will probably come next. I've been talking to their coaches."
Kelly maintains no favorites, but plans to cut his list relatively soon.
"I don't have any favorites right now, but I'll be narrowing my list probably in the summer time," he said. "I know I'll be committing before the season."
In the meantime, the 6-foot-1, 194-pounder plans to take some trips this summer.
"I haven't decided on whether I'm going to do any summer camps yet. I'll decide on that soon. I think I just will take visits this summer though," he said. "I know I'm visiting Penn State, North Carolina and I'm going ot Georgia for unofficial visits."
