DC wideout on the verge of more offers

Two offers are in for Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson wide receiver Alonzo Russell. The 6-foot-4, 180-pounder has two more schools still eyeing him this season.
"I'm still talking to a few coaches," he said. "I'm hearing from Pittsburgh and West Virginia since they both have offered. West Virginia wants me to commit.

"I still talk to Virginia Tech and Illinois some. They want me to keep them on my list and want me to send film from my first three games."
Russell planned to visit one of the schools recently, but couldn't make it.
"I had to reschedule my trip to Pittsburgh due to a family emergency," he said. "West Virginia wants me to come up for an official. They said they'll get back to me about that soon."
The D.C. wideout maintains no favorites right now.
"It's too hard to say, I'm just weighing my options."
Football is heating back up for Russell as the season opens next week.
"Our team is kind of loaded, we're good," he said. "We're looking to win the Turkey Bowl one more time and I'm trying to get player of the year."
