DC corner on the verge of more offers

Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson cornerback Sherrard Harrington holds two scholarships. The 6-foot-1, 176-pounder may be on the verge of more offers in the near future.
"Duke and Tulsa are still the schools that have offered," he said. "Texas Tech and BYU are very interested. BYU said they are only taking one corner and they believe I can that one.

"Texas Tech is kind of the same. They want to see me in person. Also, Wake Forest is very, very interested. They told me they love my tape. I think they are very close to offering."
Harrington hasn't taken any visits this spring and instead is focusing on football.
"I'm focused on the season and helping my team back to a championship," he said. "I'll let everything handle itself."
Harrington plans to head to the Nike Camp on Saturday at Virginia Tech.
Teams are taking a serious interested in the corner due in part to his flexibility.
"A lot of schools said I have good height and they have some packages and schemes where they'll put me at safety," he said. "They like the fact I can go and get the ball at its highest point."
