DC athlete claims a top three
Washington (D.C.) St. John's College athlete Charles Brown claims half a dozen offers. The 5-foot-10, 198-pounder claims three lead at this time. Who tops Brown's list?
"I've got offers from Kansas State, New Mexico, Kent State, Northeastern, South Carolina State and Akron," he said. "It's been pretty quiet recently. I've been in touch with Buffalo, Connecticut, Delaware and went to Temple's camp.

"All of those schools said they will keep an eye on me more this season."
So, who does Brown like?
"I'd say my top three schools are Kansas State, New Mexico and Akron," he said. "I like the conference Kansas State is in, the Big 12. They play good competition.
"I like New Mexico because I'd have a chance to play my freshman year, I think I'd get that chance at Akron too."
The two-star prospect is thinking about visits.
"I might visit Kansas State, Minnesota, Akron and Northeastern soon, but I have nothing set yet."
Brown and St. John's College begin practice on Wednesday, August 5th.
