Three-star athlete Nathan Bussey out of Washington (D.C.) Dunbar is still favoring Illinois. Despite that, the 6-foot-2, 202-pounder is beginning to think about official visits and has three schools in mind.
"I haven't planned any, but I think I'd like to go to Illinois, Kansas State and Colorado," he said. "Illinois is still my favorite because I've been there twice already and I like the staff. I've gotten to know a lot of people on their team and it just feels like home to me, that's why they stand out.
"As for Colorado and Kansas State, I haven't been to Colorado or Kansas before. I've talked to the coaches though and they let me know how things are. I'd love to visit them to see how it is there."
In the meantime, Syracuse, Louisville and Connecticut continue to be in the mix.
"I haven't heard from those schools much, but hopefully they'll send an offer soon."
The No. 5 player in the District of Columbia is planning to hold off on a decision.
"I think I'm going to push it back until after the season so that I can make more visits to see what schools are really interested in me."
