DB Tyson is gaining interest
Norfolk (Va.) Lake Taylor safety Mike Tyson is getting interest from a number of schools. Who is taking an interest in the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder?
"Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State and he's even getting interest from Oregon," Lake Taylor head coach Hank Sawyer said. "He kind of reminds me of Travis Williams. He was his understudy and talks to Travis all the time, more than I do.

"He's going to some places. We'll go to Penn State, NC State and Maryland for one-day stuff. A lot of coaches want to watch him workout during spring evaluations. They know about him. I tell you what, he's the closest thing to Travis Williams, he makes plays like that at strong safety."
Sawyer went on about his talented safety.
"He makes plays," he said. "The games we won last year he scored in every one of them. He's just really smooth and catches the ball as well as any of them.
"Off the field, he's a real good leader. He's a good captain and he does all the right things. He's got a 2.5 GPA now, and is working hard in the classroom."
