Position: Defensive back
Size and speed: Thatcher is 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds. He has been timed at 4.5 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Thatcher has been a varsity starter since his freshman season. He has played safety, running back, and wide receiver. Thatcher gained 662 yards during his junior season and picked off three passes during his sophomore season. He has a 2.25 GPA.
Honors: All-conference, all-city, and honorable mention all-state.
Favorite Schools: Ohio State, Tennessee, Boston College, Pitt, and South Carolina.
Skinny: Thatcher was a varsity starter at safety during both his freshman and sophomore seasons. He played running back and some wide receiver during his junior season. But Thatcher is being recruited as a cornerback.
"All the schools are recruiting me as a cornerback," Thatcher said.
"I went to a lot of Ohio State's games last season. And I'm going to their spring game."
"I went to Tennessee March 7. I'm going back next weekend for their spring game."
