DB Thomas has a leader
Safety Marquel Thomas out of Virginia Beach (Va.) Bayside holds four offers. The 6-foot-2, 165-pounder claims a leader amongst the group, but continues to garner interest from at least one other school.
"Right now it's the same old thing," he said. "Recruiting is going good. I have offers from Old Dominion, Eastern Michigan, Marshall and Northern Illinois.

"Connecticut continues to be in touch a bit. I haven't talked to them in awhile, before the break."
Thomas continues to favor startup program Old Dominion.
"I think that's going to be one of my top schools," he stated. "I like the campus, it's nice. It's close to home and the coaches are cool. I've met some of the players already and gone to some of the basketball games. It's fun. I have fun there.
"I am still weighing my options and am seeing what else is out there."
At this time, Thomas hasn't scheduled any official visits.
