DB staying focused

Daejuan Funderburk's recruitment has been slow since his decommitment from Temple. The safety from Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy took a trip to West Virginia not too long ago.
"I'm in touch with Miami, West Virginia and Wisconsin," said the 6-foot-1, 188-pound Funderburk. "I recently went to West Virginia. I liked the atmosphere. The fans showed me love and I liked the coaches. They told me how I would fit in their system and how they really need me."

Funderburk is working on setting up more visits for when his season ends.
"I'm supposed to go to Miami in January," he said. "I talked to a coach and I should have an official visit set up to West Virginia in January but that isn't set yet."
The three star safety is taking things step by step.
"I'll probably make my decision on signing day," Funderburk said. "We are in the finals next weekend then I'll figure things out."
Funderburk is clearly focused on finishing the season strong before really getting back into his recruitment.
