DB Sanders says UM his favorite
Defensive back Akim Sanders has been a varsity starter since his freshman season. The Detroit (Mich.) Crockett Tech standout has put up some fine numbers over his three years as a starter.
The 6-foot-0 and 180 pound Sanders intercepted four passes his freshman season while also returning kickoffs. He had four more interceptions his sophomore year while also starting at wide receiver. His junior season Sanders again started on both sides of the ball and intercepted five more passes.

Recruiters have known about Sanders for some time.
"My favorite school is Michigan," Sanders said. "And I like Wisconsin, Ohio State, and Florida State. Those are the main ones. And Michigan State a little."
"I talk to Michigan and Wisconsin a lot. I went to Michigan State's camp. I'll probably go to Wisconsin in about two weeks. I'll probably go to Michigan too."
