DB McClain taking visits

Winter Park (Fla.) defensive back Blake McClain committed to Kentucky in June over offers from Indiana, Mississippi State, and West Virginia among others.
The Wildcats are winless in the SEC and head coach Joker Phillips has been let go. Phillips will coach his last game on Saturday when Kentucky takes on Tennessee.

Where does that leave McClain ?
McClain stated, "I'm going take visits. I have Pittsburgh December 7 and maybe Arizona on December 1."
He took a trip to Iowa State in October and his visit went well. The three-star defender will take his official visit to Kentucky on December 14.
If the new coach doesn't retain Mike Cassity, McClain said he would open up his recruitment again.
McClain called Georgia Tech his dream school. "I like the location. It's in Atlanta, it's a good place,' remarked McClain.
He has received some mail from the Yellow Jackets, but has not heard from any coaches.
In addition to upcoming trips to Arizona and Pittsburgh, McClain said West Virginia is back in the mix.
"What I like about Arizona is the five DB defense they run. I like coach Huxtable and the schemes he runs at Pittsburgh. West Virginia stands out because they are in the Big 12," noted McClain.
His father played wide receiver at Ball State back in the 70's and is helping him in the recruiting process.
Right now he is being recruited at cornerback and safety. McClain's team finished the season 4-6.
