As a youngster he grew up rooting for the hometown Hurricanes, but things have changed with Miami.
When asked about the possibility of not playing at a BCS school?
"I don't think its that important to play in the BCS (conference)," replied Leslie. "As long as you are getting an education to get a degree and playing the sport that you love."
Most importantly he is looking for a school that fits his skill set and makes him feel comfortable.
Earlier this summer he visited App State and he said the Mountaineers are recruiting him the hardest.
He feels he will get more offers in the fall as schools come out to watch practice and see him battle with teammate and West Virginia commit Jacob McCrary.
His favorite NFL defensive back is current Seattle Seahawk and former Stanford standout Richard Sherman.
As a junior, he clocked an 11.61, 100-meter dash in the Class 4 District 16 Championship.
