DB Krah lands first offer

Durham (N.C.) Hillside safety Myer Krah landed his first scholarship late last week. The 5-foot-11, 186-pounder pulled the offer from a Division I program.
"I got offered by Navy on Thursday night," he said. "I hadn't spoken to them in awhile and I called them and asked if they give offers and they said yes and told me I had one. I thought I heard him wrong, but I was really excited, that's my first offer."

What does Krah think of Navy?
"I've been talking to my coach about them, one of our coaches actually played there," he said. "I should be going down there soon to watch them play Notre Dame (Nov. 23rd). It sounds really cool and a prestigious school. I'm trying to still do my research and get in contact with them more about the questions I have."
Interest is developing for Krah from a couple other schools as well.
"I'm getting a little bit more interest from Maryland, they seem really, really interested and Kentucky too. They are evaluating me."
This season Krah has helped Hillside to a 7-0 record.
"I had about 10 to 12 tackles the last game and I've been doing really well," he said. "I also had an 80-yard kick return. I'm not sure on my tackles, but I'm probably averaging about nine a game."
