Mike Johnson is trying to trim his list of suitors as the camp season comes to a close. This past week he took part in the Jimbo Fisher camp working closely with defensive backs coach Jeremy Pruitt.

Last month he named a top ten of Florida State, Louisville, Texas Tech, Virginia, Vanderbilt, UCF, Rutgers, Syracuse, Purdue, and Arizona in no particular order.
Johnson grew up a fan of the 'Noles and despite holding an offer he didn't commit during his time in Tallahassee as some expected.
Now he is focused on taking visits and keeping in touch with the schools that continue to chase the three-star defender from Clearwater (Fla.) Countryside.
"I'm already setting up official visits to FSU, Virginia, and Vanderbilt. That's all I know right now," remarked Johnson.
So with three official visits planned, who from his long list is getting cut? He said, "I don't really know yet. It's just hard."
Keep an eye on Louisville and UCF as they continue to stay in hot pursuit of the 5-foot-11, 180-pound back end defender.
Johnson doesn't have a time frame. He said he will commit "when it feels right." He forced four turnovers as a junior, intercepting a pair of passes and forcing two fumbles.
