DB Green draws his first offer

Minneapolis, (Minn.) cornerback prospect Marcellus Green (5-foot-10, 170 pounds) drew serious college recruiting interest during the May evaluation period, and Green has also drawn his first scholarship offer from Ball State University.
"Last night I received a call from Marcellus's head coach at the high school, and he told me that the Ball State coaches called him and said that they were going to offer Marcellus," Fred Green, Marcellus's father said. "Marcellus then called the Ball State coaches back this morning, and they confirmed the offer on the phone. Marcellus is very excited about landing his first offer from Ball State."

Marcellus Green also talked about his upcoming camp plans. "I'm starting my college camps on Saturday at the University of Iowa," Marcellus Green said. “I'm just really looking forward to getting out and showing the colleges what I can do in person this summer."
"Several college coaches told me back in May that they wanted to see me up close and in their camps, and that's fine by me. I want to go into the camps and show them what I can do. I'm just really excited to get back on the football field."
Green has a very busy summer camp schedule. "I'm starting at Iowa on Saturday, then the following week I'll be camping at Minnesota on June 15th. I'm also scheduled to camp at Wisconsin on June 24th and at Notre Dame on June 27th. I'm also going to a one-day camp at Northwestrern on July 23rd."
