DB Ghee to decide in October

Fayetteville (N.C.) Jack Britt athlete Brandon Ghee and his teammates had their game postponed Friday night against Jonathan Hannah and South View.
Ghee had been looking forward to the contest as it gave them an opportunity to get their first victory of the season after having to forfeit their first two wins due to two ineligible players and falling to E.E. Smith 21-17 last weekend.

"It’s been hard having to give up two games like that,” admitted Ghee. “Personally, I played well in our last game against Smith. I had four receptions for 92 yards and a score. I also broke up three passes.”
While Ghee is a threat on both sides of the football, he is being recruited primarily as a cornerback at the college level.
“I’m looking at the same top five schools of Clemson, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest,” explained Ghee. “All five have been in contact with me since Sept. 1.”
Ghee plans on making a decision sometime next month and may narrow his list to three before deciding.
“Right now, I plan on announcing my decision sometime around the second week of October,” stated Ghee. “Right now, if I had to name a top three, Virginia Tech would be one of those teams, but I’m not sure about the other two.”
Do the Hokies hold the edge for Ghee’s services.
“I wouldn’t say that just yet, but they’re up there.”
Ghee is not sure if he’ll take any official visits before making a decision and admitted he’s likely take his visits, if any, after he makes a decision. Ghee got a chance to see each of his favorites during the summer on unofficial visits.
