DB could be top player in state
Manhattan, Kansas defensive back Greg Gaskins is one of the top players in Kansas this year.
"He's hearing from schools in this area," Manhattan head coach Buch Albright said. "K-State, KU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State have all had some interest. We try not to let it all go to the kids right off the bat. We like them to focus on their seasons."
Gaskins will also receive some attention for his ability on the hardwood. "He's the point guard for the basketball team too. He's very good. Several schools are trying to talk to him about basketball too. I'm sure that attention will continue into the next year."
