DB Brandon Robinson down to two

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck School defensive back/wideout Brandon Robinson has his list of schools narrowed down to just two.
"It's down to Boston College and Stanford," said the 6-foot-0, 185-pounder who has camped at both places. "I just got back from Stanford and I'm more confused than ever now. I thought I was ready to make my decision after my BC camp experience, but now I'm not quite ready again."

Robinson loves the academics at both schools and that will be the major factor in his decision.
"I want to major in business, maybe in communications," he said. "Both schools are excellent and have great reputations."
And what of the defections of Virginia Tech and Miami to the ACC? Will that affect BC's chances?
"A little bit, but it doesn't change what kind of school they are," he said. "BC will always be competitive in football and the academics are great. I won't let it factor much into my decision."
Robinson's father will have some influence over his decision and that bodes well for the Eagles.
"He lived in Boston for like 10 years and grew up in New Jersey so he likes the east coast," he said. "I like it there too, it' so nice. But my parents also lived in California so that's a factor as well. The weather out there is so great."
Robinson was very impressive at both camps, running a 4.6-second 40-yard dash on BC's slow, wet turf and a 4.51-second 40-yard dash at Stanford. He also jumped nearly 40 inches at BC in the vertical. His decision will come in a few months.
"I want to decide by Sept. 1, but now I might take official visits to both places and decide a little later," he said. "I didn't get to meet too many players on my camp trips so I'd like to see how I fit in."
Robinson had 53 catches for 777 yards and 11 touchdowns on offense as a junior and eight interceptions on defense. He doesn't care where he plays in college.
"Whatever position gets me on the field," he said. "I don't have a favorite, I like playing both."
