DB Alozie returns from Rutgers

Bethlehem (Pa.) Freedom junior safety Okezie Alozie has been in contact with several colleges throughout the 2010 season but only recently did he take his first unofficial visit.
He made the short trip to Rutgers for the Scarlet Knights' game against Syracuse. While the game turned out to be a loss for Rutgers, Alozie enjoyed the overall experience and the atmosphere at the game.

"It was pretty nice," he recalled. "New Jersey is a nice place. It was my first time going to Rutgers. I really liked the stadium. I was pretty impressed with the campus.
"I talked to the coaches and they were saying how happy they were I was there. They just told me to take in everything I see and they're looking forward to seeing my film."
Alozie has also been in some form of contact with Missouri, Mississippi State, Michigan, Michigan State, West Virginia, UConn, Cincinnati, Penn State, Maryland, South Carolina and Iowa. He said he has spoken to coaches from all of those schools over the phone and is building good relationships with his recruiters.
The next step in the process is for him to get his film out to all of those schools so they can evaluate his progress during his junior season and determine whether he is worthy of an early verbal scholarship offer.
He should be taking his second and third unofficial visits very shortly.
"I plan on going to Penn State for a visit in a couple of weeks and then West Virginia in December," he said.
Alozie claims to now check in at 6-foot and 196 pounds. This season he recorded 76 tackles, three sacks, five forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. He also broke up three passes. He said all of the schools that have contacted him are recruiting him as a safety.
