DB Alexander is picking up interest

Fredericksburg (Va.) Fredericksburg Christian is home to a pair of potential prospects in 2013. One of those is 6-foot-0, 175-pound safety Aaron Alexander.
"I've spoken with Coach Lazor at Virginia, Coach Brattan at Maryland, Old Dominion, Liberty and Virginia Tech," he said. "I'm supposed to go out on some visits. I'm trying to get in contact with Old Dominion; I'm trying to get down there. I'm also planning an unofficial on April 5th to Georgia Tech."

Does Alexander like anybody?
"I can't really say that I have any interest yet," he said. "I haven't really spoken to anybody yet, so I'm listening to anybody that comes in.
"The only thing I'm looking for in a college is a good school and a good education. Sooner or later football is going to be over and I want a good solid education, somewhere that has a big campus and somewhere I'd be able to play."
Posting 10 interceptions on the year, Alexander earned all-conference defensive back, kick returner and running back, all-area and all-state defensive back honors as well.
"I did alright this season," he said. "It was kind of tough since I hadn't played football for a few years, so I was getting back into it. I was just going off natural ability."
