Dayton DB commits to Ball State

Jon Myles, a standout wide receiver and defensive back for Dayton (Ohio) Chaminade Julienne, has committed to Ball State.
“Jon committed to Ball State earlier this year, in the third or fourth week of the season,” Chaminade Julienne coach Jim Place said. “I think for him the decision came down to comfort. We have three or four guys (from Chaminade Julienne) who are there already, and the coach there is from Dayton.”

Myles played both ways in his senior season, though Place said he thinks the senior will spend more time on defense in the future.
“He played a lot of DB (defensive backfield) for us this year, and he’s a great cover guy,” Place said. “I think the biggest thing for him improving this year was that he became much more physical. That will help him a lot in the future.”
Myles’ has visited Ball State multiples times, making his commitment a solid pledge.
