Dayes opens things back up

Weston (Fla.) Cypress Bay tailback Matt Dayes has opened things back up. The 5-foot-10, 190-pounder says he's committed to NC State still, but is looking.
"I'm not really focusing on my recruitment so much since the season is going on," he said. "Since NC State's coach got fired, I am opening things up to see what else is out there."

Dayes went on to state that he is still a Wolfpack pledge.
"I'm still committed, but I'm looking around," he said. "I like the facilities at NC State and the guys I've met up there. That's pretty much it; also the fans are great there. I haven't heard from the coaches, so I don't know what's going on."
Who else would Dayes consider for trips then?
"I'm probably going to take a visit to Kentucky and Vanderbilt," he said. "Vanderbilt is because of the education they have there and the type of offense they run. For Kentucky, I want to see what it's like there."
Dayes noted that he has heard from a few other schools including USF, UCF and Boston College amongst others.
