Dawkins receiving most attention from three
Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes wide receiver Chavis Dawkins has received scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Louisville, Umass, N.C. State, Old Dominion, and Wake Forest, but three schools have been showing the most interest.
"North Carolina State has really been on me since they were my first offer," Dawkins said. "App State has really been on me. And Middle Tennessee."

Aside from the interest, a few other aspects of the three schools has caught Dawkins' attention
"I just like the coaches," Dawkins said. "They're really showing interest early, and I've been looking at a lot of things about the academic programs that I like. So it's going pretty well."
While a few programs stand out in the amount of interest they have shown, he is not ready to declare anyone his leader.
"I've got to keep y'all waiting on that one," Dawkins said.
How long does he plan to keep everyone waiting?
"I'll probably make my decision in the middle of the season," Dawkins said.
He also has a few factors he knows will weigh heavily into his decision.
"Probably academics, and where I can help the team the most," Dawkins said.
He plans to focus on Business Management or Accounting in college. He currently does not have any college visits scheduled.
