Dawgs lead for 2010 lineman

Tavadis Glenn is a huge prospect from Jacksonville (Fla.) Terry Parker High School. Glenn, 6-6 and 300 pounds, plays on both sides of the ball at offensive and defensive tackle.
"I played well at both (positions)," Glenn said. "I was better with my hands and I have more speed. I just played with better technique this past season."

Last July at Friday Night Lights at the University of Florida Glenn tipped the scales at 264 pounds. Now he's 300 pounds.
"I have been eating right and lifting weights. I really put on some weight but I kept my speed and quickness."
According to Glenn he has scholarship offers from Miami, Arkansas, LSU, Clemson and Florida International.
"Schools like me at both positions but I think I project highest at left tackle. Coach (Nick) Saban wrote me and told me I remind him of Andre Smith. Miami, Clemson and Arkansas like me at defensive tackle.
"FSU sends me letters. I think they will offer me at a junior day.
"I talk with coach (Urban) Meyer almost every week and I think they will offer soon.
"I would say Oregon is recruiting me the hardest and so is West Virginia."
Ironically, it's a team that has not offered and that's not recruiting as hard as the others that leads for Glenn.
"Right now Georgia is my favorite team. I like their defense and I like how they play. They are always strong and fast and produce talent. The funny thing is that they are not really recruiting me hard."
Georgia is the top dog right now with Miami and Florida State right there as well.
"I love the coaches at Miami and the atmosphere down there.
"I think FSU is a school where I really fit their offensive system."
Glenn bench presses 350 pounds, squats 480 and power cleans 235.
