Richard Cook has stuck with his
commitment to Georgia and signed with the Bulldogs this morning despite a late
push from SEC rival Tennessee.
"He's in the process of signing with Georgia as we
speak," Washington-Wilkes coach Ross New said. "I think it was a tough decision,
but he's happy to be going to Georiga."
Cook (6-4, 265, 4.6) is a member of the Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and rated the
No. 9 strongside defensive end in the nation. He finished his senior season
with 75 tackles and eight sacks.
