Dawgs enter mix for Watkins
Over the past few weeks Jaylen Watkins has received some big time scholarship offers from teams like Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama and Ohio State. Well, another college football power offered him yesterday. That school - the University of Georgia.
"Georgia is another top program that's always successful," Watkins said. "They are always producing good defensive backs. I will definitely consider Georgia. I have also heard great things about Mark Richt and the coaching staff up there. They must be great with all the success they have had."
Watkins, from Cape Coral (Fla.) High School, is one of the nation's top rated cornerback prospects and one of the top overall players from the Sunshine State. He is the No. 27 player overall in the Rivals100.
